NOTE FROM THE CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER

TGT as a leading catalyst for SME and farmer development responds to the dynamic environment it operates by taking into consideration current development challenges and the National policy context both micro and macro. Tanzania faces the momentous challenge of overcoming poverty and creating conditions for sustained economic growth and shared prosperity in achieving its National Development Vision 2025 and reaches a semi-industrialized, medium income economy.

Mboga na Matunda Programme: Zanzibar

With funding from the USAID-Feed The Future Initiative, TGT is implementing a horticulture “Mboga na Matunda” programme in Zanzibar. The objective is to contribute to poverty alleviation and improve lives of small holder farmers in Zanzibar and its regions. 

Tanzania Virtual Business Incubator

The Tanzania Virtual Business Incubator (TVBI) is widely known in Swahili as Mpango wa Kukuza Ujasiriamali na Biashara kwa Wanawake’ abbreviated asMKUBWA’, an acronym which by itself means BIG in English.

Mburahati Modern Market Project

TGT implements the informal sector support initiative with the objective to ease the access to suitable and secure business premises for businesses operating in the informal economy in greater Dar es Salaam.
